이범헌은 고립된 예술가의 태도만 고집하지 않는다. ‘조화’와 ‘상생’이라는 가치를 화폭에 담아내듯, 미술계의 권익보호에도 혁혁한 공을 세웠다.
이러한 공헌과 희생, 그리고 사랑의 정신은 작품세계에도 잘 녹아들어 있다. 그의 작품은 현재 서울시립미술관, 서울중앙지방법원, 국립현대미술관미술은행 등에 소장되어있다."

"Lee Bum Hun (1963-) is a representative Korean artist who captures the aesthetics of harmonious life and coexistence in his canvas. There is a harmony of yin and yang in his paintings that preserve the charm of oriental painting while using various media from the East and the West. In the <Flower Dance> series made with acrylic, the light and shade are something that can be only seen in paintings in Asia. The sense of clarity and refreshingness is exceptional.

Lee Bum Hun does not insist on the attitude of recluse artist. Just as he captures the values of "harmony" and "coexistence" in his canvas, he has made a brilliant contribution to protecting the rights and interests of the art world. This spirit of contribution, sacrifice, and love is well incorporated into his work. His works are currently kept in the Seoul Museum of Art, the Seoul Central District Court, and the MMCA Art Bank."
